Hey there! So, guess what? Jua Kali, that awesome yacht from Race your Dreams, has scored a sweet gig! She’s been hired by a private team from England, Skippered by William Farmer who is a self proclaimed Hopeless Corinthian, to compete in the ROLEX Cup Middle Sea Race 2023. How cool is that? Now, unfortunately, I won’t be able to join them for the race (bummer!), but I can definitely help get her back home to Lavagna, Italy from Ta’ Xbiex, Malta. It’s gonna be a wild 625 nautical miles journey.
Now, here’s the thing: I’m really curious if we’ll be passing through the notorious Strait of Messina. You know, that place with all those crazy myths and legendary creatures. Or maybe we’ll take the scenic route and swing by Sicily to the West. Who knows? I’m just excited to see if Skipper Francesco and First Mate Daria have what it takes to navigate these waters like bosses. Can’t wait to find out!

Race Update… The guys totally rocked it and crushed the 606 Nautical Mile race in just 4 days, 23 hours, 40 minutes, and 13 seconds, finishing a rad 17th in IRC Class 5 and a solid 70th Overall. Way to go, guys! You totally nailed it! Keep up the awesome work! 🚀😎
